A visual management platform for enterprises is targeting UK growth after opening a base in London.

France-headquartered iObeya’s solution supports industrial product lifecycle management, manufacturing operations, product development and continuous improvement for business performance and agility.

It serves large organisations with complex manufacturing, engineering, R&D or extended management workflows.

After opening five new regional offices in London, Singapore, New York, Hamburg and Rotterdam – joining the company’s Paris headquarters and existing offices in Seattle and Tunis – it aims to grow its global headcount by 65% to support almost a million users around the world.

In 2021 alone, iObeya added nearly 80 enterprise customers from both the Fortune 500 and CAC 40 as demand for visual management software skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result has seen iObeya’s global revenue grow by 70% year-over-year.

“The London office aims to grow its headcount over the next several years,” founder and CEO Cyril Daloz told BusinessCloud. “The London team will consist of a wide range of areas of expertise.”

Initial hires will include an account manager and customer success manager as it “ramps up”. Christopher Tudway has already been appointed to expand iObeya’s reach in the UK and Ireland with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals and finance.

Daloz added: “The UK is an important centre for so many industries that find success using iObeya. The UK is one of EMEA’s biggest markets, along with France and Germany, where iObeya already has a presence.

“Since Brexit, we believe it is even more important to have a local presence, especially for our existing customer base which includes the operations and sites of Abbott Laboratories, Thales and Airbus.

“We have a strong focus this year on developing partnerships with local lean-agile management consulting organisations, for which there are many in this particular region.

“Our new office locations will now allow us to work more closely with our clients around the globe, with each new office serving as a hub for customer excellence headed by an industry leader with hands-on experience.”
