Surrey-based TT Electronics plc has appointed Richard Webb as interim CFO and a member of the board.

Webb brings expertise to the global engineer and manufacturer of electronic solutions for critical applications, having recently served as CFO of former FTSE 250 constituent Ultra Electronics. 

He started his career at Deloitte, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. 

He also recently served as interim group finance director at retail giant Wickes.

Bartlett-backed retail business forced to close

Eric Lakin, acting CEO, said: “I am delighted to announce Richard’s appointment and warmly welcome him to TT.  

“Richard’s experience and expertise in our sector and markets will be invaluable in driving performance in our business.”

Lakin has served in the position of acting CEO for just over a month, after former boss Peter France left his post after just 18 months in April. 

The firm has seen its share price tumble in the past year, with it dropping from 157p on 13th May 2024 to 80.63p at 9am today. 

It currently has a market cap of £144.2m.
