Home-use beauty technology business The Beauty Tech Group (TBTG) is set to triple the size of its headquarters at Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park in North West England.

It comes after four years of growth for the company which has seen its products, including the CurrentBody Skin LED mask, succeed globally.

The Cheshire-based firm, which recently acquired Tria Laser and ZIIP, moved into Glasshouse at Alderley Park in 2021 and will now increase its footprint there from 5,000 sq ft to over 16,000 sq ft.

This will provide a new open-plan workspace for up to 200 people, designed to flex and evolve alongside the business.

As part of the Bruntwood SciTech national network, TBTG is able to access the 1,100-strong business community and dedicated growth support, including access to talent through their university and alternative training provider partnerships.

“TBTG’s growth at Alderley Park is a great example of what providing a supportive, collaborative ecosystem can do for scaling innovative businesses,” said Sam Birtwistle, senior commercial manager, Bruntwood SciTech.

“The campus offers a home for companies of all sizes and sectors with bold ambitions across its 1 million sq ft of workspace, with the infrastructure and support to help them meet their goals.

“Our ability to flex and adapt to meet TBTG’s needs over the years has meant its North West headquarters have remained at the heart of the business.

“As it grows its presence at Glasshouse, we’re excited to see the next chapter in their success story, and their continued impact within our community.”

Laurence Newman, CEO of TBTG, added: “As an industry leader in home-use beauty technology, it is important that our headquarters reflects our cutting edge products backed by science.

“Since moving to Glasshouse at Alderley Park in 2021, the group has continued to develop and it was an easy decision to find a larger space for our growing teams.

“Whilst we are a truly international business with offices in the US and China, Glasshouse at Alderley Park is our HQ and I am delighted to be committing to the future here.”
