The launch event for the fourth LCR Tech Climbers takes place next week in Liverpool.
LCR Tech Climbers 2024 celebrates the rising stars of Liverpool City Region’s digital sector and it’s the fourth time Tech Climbers has returned to the city region.
A panel of industry experts will be joined by several tech businesses to share their insights on the region’s tech scene.
It takes place on Thursday November 2nd at Nova Scotia, in Mann Island, Liverpool, between 8.30am-10.30am.
The fourth edition of the list will be showcasing the top-performing technology-led businesses that make LCR one of the UK’s most exciting tech destinations.
The 2024 list, which also includes the region’s Ones to Watch, will be revealed next year.
Speakers include Ben Sweeney, founder of VidiVet, which has just secured a six-figure investment from fund:AI, which is managed by River Capital.
Vidivet was founded in March 2020 and provides online vet triage services to pet owners all over the UK 24 hours a day.
Sweeney will be joined by Madina Barker, director / owner of CNC Robotics, with was included in the inaugural LCR Tech Climbers 2019, and Rob Sims, co-founder and CEO of AI startup Sum Vivas.
The panel of industry experts includes Claire Lewis, co-founder and CEO of Liverpool-based startup accelerator Baltic Ventures, which has just started working with its first cohort of nine game-changing ventures.
She’ll be joined by Will Roberts, investment director at Rathbones and Graeme Murray, senior associate at Marks & Clerk.
