Recruitment & HRAppointments

Student work app Stint has appointed a new chief technology officer and chief product officer.

Stint connects hospitality operators with students looking for short, flexible shifts. The London firm has now worked with over 1,400 hospitality businesses, including high street brands Chipotle and Chilango, and clubs and restaurants such as Annabels and The Wolseley.

More than 115,000 students are signed up to the platform, which operates in 32 towns and cities across the UK.

New CTO Jason Atlas began his career at Microsoft before spending the following 17 years in CTO roles, most recently with Adarga – one of the UK’s largest AI software developers – spearheading the engineering and data science teams to create a new data intelligence platform. Atlas has advised Stint for the last 18 months.

New CPO Mark Harris (pictured) was previously senior product director at Checkout.com, where he was responsible for all onboarding, underwriting and administration products.

Prior to this, he spent two years as CPO at Patient and six years at Worldpay, the global payments provider heading up the mobile and then SME product teams.

Sam Schlagman, co-founder at Stint, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Jason and Mark to Stint. The experience, knowledge and guidance that these two bring to the table will be transformative for Stint as we press on with big plans for 2022.”
