Stoke City has signed a partnership deal with local business Graphix.

The family-owned business, based in Stoke-on-Trent, will become the Potters’ first official print and signage supplier for the remainder of this campaign and the 2019/20 season.

Graphix, run by brothers Steve and Simon Ward – managing director and director respectively – uses the latest technology to produce designs for print, display and web.

Its computer-to-plate technology is at the cutting edge of design and uses Heidelberg printing presses.

“We are delighted to be partnering with another local company that is really going places,” said Stoke’s chief commercial officer Paul Lakin.

“Both Steve and Simon are huge supporters of the club and they also recognise the platform we can provide to their business and vice versa.”

Steve Ward said: “This is a proud day for us. We have had a very positive relationship with Stoke City FC in recent years and have been instrumental in branding both the football stadium and the Clayton Wood training complex.

“This has personal resonance for me, from my trials for Stoke as a 12-year-old schoolboy at the Old Victoria Ground, to supporting Stoke City and recently working with them to promote their brand.

“I’m so proud of the hard work and attention to detail from my team. To be offered this partnership by the club is a real testament to the quality and trust we have built between us.”
