Recruitment & HR

A recruitment technology and talent agency backed by BBC Dragon Steven Bartlett is launching in the United States.

Chapter 2, whose global clients include Publicis Groupe, Grammarly, Bumble and Wayfair, has opened a base in Manhattan to service the growing client base for its talent acquisition services Stateside.

It has also appointed Brad Rose to lead the US division. Rose has served as MD of Chapter 2 EMEA for several years and has previous experience at LinkedIn.

CEO Leo Harrison, former global COO of advertising agency OLIVER, founded Chapter 2 in 2020.

“Surging demand in the US has been a catalyst for Chapter 2’s global growth,” he said. “With our track record as a trusted talent partner to leading brands, the time was right to establish a presence on American soil.

“I’ve worked alongside Brad Rose for years, and I’m confident his leadership will position our US expansion to align seamlessly with the market’s pace and potential.”

Rose added: “The global talent market is evolving fast and in the US, speed matters most. From day one, US leaders working with Chapter 2 get an embedded recruitment partner, strategic advisory, and brand expertise that directly drive measurable outcomes: faster hiring, stronger pipelines, and better candidates.

“Our evolved RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) model is built to deliver impact immediately, matching the urgency and scale of the US market.”

Bartlett, host of The Diary of a CEO podcast, invested in the firm last year.

“For DOAC, the US is our largest global audience – it’s a dynamic market where not only ideas, but talent moves fastest. It is the ideal moment for Chapter 2 to strengthen its US presence,” he said.

“As I reflect on the past year since I invested in the business, I’ve seen 80% YoY growth, and this latest milestone is one worth celebrating.”
