Total Processing, the Manchester-based payments FinTech, has announced that Martin Gilbert will be joining its board.

Martin Gilbert, current chairman of Revolut and founder of Aberdeen Asset Management, brings with him extensive experience in both traditional and disruptive financial services.

As CEO of Aberdeen Asset Management from 1991 to 2017, he helped grow the company into one of the world’s leading independent asset managers with £308bn of assets under management.

Over the past three years, Gilbert has also played a key role in Revolut’s growth from an innovative FinTech company to a challenger bank.

His appointment is part of Total Processing’s plans to scale the business and expand its international reach.

Total Processing, founded in 2015, continues to grow its client base and help its customers make processing payments as seamless and secure as possible.
