Pets at Home Group, which owns the Pets at Home retail store brand and local veterinary service Vets4Pets, has expanded its digital offering with a new acquisitions.
The listed firm, which claims to be the UK’s leading pet care business has acquired The Vet Connection (TVC), a veterinary telehealth provider, for cash consideration of £15m.
Founded in 2002, TVC provides on demand veterinary telehealth advice, triage and ancillary services to a wide range of customers and their pets.
Using their experienced in-house veterinary team, TVC already conducts around 90,000 remote consultations each year.
