Peate leaves Business Growth Hub for new role


Katie Peate has left her role as the head of digital, creative and technology growth at the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub.

She was in post for two-and-a-half years and has left to take up a leadership role at digital sector specialists Form, which was founded by Matthew Johnson, the former chief executive of Mando Agency.

Form describes itself as a collective of industry experts who deliver leadership development services and growth support specifically for digital, creative and tech businesses.

Johnson, who sold his interest in Mando in 2013, said he was delighted to recruit Peate.

“We pride ourselves on being a group of trusted guides whose experiences bring our services to life in a way that goes beyond the textbook,” he told BusinessCloud.

“Katie’s experience and expertise are an exceptionally valuable addition that will benefit our own growth plans, as well as that of our clients.”

In her new role as strategy director, Peate will focus on developing Form’s business growth strategy, enhancing their offering to continue to develop new products and services, and consulting directly with clients both in the UK and Europe.

She will also be maintaining the long-term partnership between Form and the Business Growth Hub.

During her time as head of digital, creative and tech at the Business Growth Hub, Peate led the digital growth team of six advisors supporting SMEs across Greater Manchester in efforts to adopt digital technology as part of their growth strategy.

Peate said: “It’s been a privilege to establish and grow the Business Growth Hub service offering to the digital, creative and tech community. I’m delighted to be able to continue a relationship with The Hub, working in a reshaped capacity to continue helping businesses across Greater Manchester thrive.
