Connected AI workspace giant Notion has confirmed that it will open three new ‘hub’ offices in London, Paris and Munich as it expands across Europe.

The San Francisco-based firm, which has more than 100m users worldwide, has also appointed Mick Hodgins (pictured, main image) as its new general manager for EMEA and announced the launch of EU data residency for enterprise customers.

It will now look to invest in European talent and work more closely with local customers, with the office locations hosting the first hires in each country, focused initially on customer-facing roles.

Since the business launched its regional headquarters in Dublin in 2021, the office has grown to more than 100 people, with plans to continue growth into 2026.

Hodgins, who was previously managing director, EMEA ads at Google, will head up the company’s expansion and go-to-market strategy across EMEA markets.

At Google, he built and scaled growth teams working with customers in more than 20 countries.

Based in Dublin, he will lead the regional organisation to accelerate growth across customer segments; build Notion’s regional footprint with new teams and offices; and strengthen relationships with local customers and partners.

“It’s an honour to join Notion at this exciting moment for both the company and industry,” said Hodgins.

“As organisations across EMEA navigate AI, we have an opportunity to transform how they work with beautiful, flexible tools that elevate human craft.

“Notion now has tens of millions of users in EMEA – from students to CEOs, from high-growth startups to established enterprises. This diverse and innovative ecosystem shows that the future of work is at our fingertips.

“We’re excited to get even closer to our customers and partners in London, Paris, and Munich. These offices, along with our data residency launch, demonstrate our ongoing commitment to EMEA.”

Notion already has millions of users in the UK, including companies such as Monzo, Dojo, Synthesia and Wayve.

The tool has been widely adopted by the country’s tech ecosystem, with 6,000 UK companies having participated in Notion’s Startups Program and 95% of UK unicorns using Notion.

Erica Anderson, chief revenue officer at Notion, added: “We’re delighted to have Mick onboard to lead the next phase of growth in EMEA.

“EMEA continues to be an important region for Notion as we invest in international markets.

“With his extensive experience and builder mindset, he’s the ideal leader to scale our team and support our growing customer base across the region.”
