Zandra Moore has stepped down as CEO of Leeds-based business intelligence and analytics software provider, Panintelligence.

The entrepreneur, who picked up her MBE at Buckingham Palace on Friday, is one of the leading figures in the tech community.

Moore co-founded Panintelligence in 2014 with CTO Ken Miller and grew it to £3m ARR with 35 staff.

The company has 400 global customers, including in North America and Europe.

Moore went from being the commercial director to CEO in 2017 and became a massive advocate for women in tech, sitting on the UK government’s Taskforce for Women Led High Growth Enterprises.

Last year she played a key role in sparking a social media storm that forced Innovate UK into a very public funding U-turn into female-founded businesses.

In 2024 she was awarded the MBE for services to gender equality in business and was included in BusinessCloud’s inaugural Northern Leaders list.

Speaking to BusinessCloud today she said: “For the past 12 years Panintelligence has been my life and I’m proud of the company and team that we created.

“It was a privilege to work with these colleagues and I’m now focussed on the next business.”

It’s understood Moore still has a significant shareholding in Panintelligence.

Nothing has been revealed publicly about her new business – zygens – but it’s thought to be linked to AI.

Writing on LinkedIn she wrote: “The timing feels symbolic. A new space has opened up and I am stepping into it with purpose and a deep determination to build what’s next – bigger, bolder and better.”

On Friday she picked up her MBE for services to gender equality in business alongside her mother Jackie Utley and children Natalie and Henry.
