Virtual reality experience centre operator ImmotionVR has announced the opening of its flagship Wembley store.

The new venue is located at London Designer Outlet at Wembley Park, situated next to the world-famous Wembley Stadium.

The immersive VR experience centre uses motion simulators, wrap-around sound and multi-direction movement to take guests “into new realms”.

“We’re excited to be opening in such a prestigious venue as LDO in Wembley Park,” said Arek Antoniak, head of retail operations.

“We’ll be offering families a unique type of experience, with cutting-edge VR that will be a great addition to the leisure park, creating new experiences where the possibilities are literally endless.”

Sue Shepherd, LDO’s centre manager, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Immotion VR in good time for the Festive season and the upcoming school holidays.

“It adds a new dimension to LDO’s existing diverse range of retail, leisure and dining and is a fun and innovative way to experience the best in virtual reality.”

The new store was officially opened by the Mayor of Brent, counsellor Arshad Mahmood.

ImmotionVR was founded by Martin Higginson and David Marks in 2017. It floated on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in July 2018 raising £5.75 million through an oversubscribed share placing.
