Appointments

A B Corp certified digital transformation and bespoke AI solutions business headquartered in Manchester has appointed its first chief commercial officer.

Since launching in 2021, Anumana has been focused on helping fast-growth organisations convert data into an asset.

It says new arrival Ben Ecroyd’s ability to engage and operate at C-suite level will allow him to translate advanced technology into the language of the boardroom, strategically strengthening Anumana’s presence across its target markets which include manufacturing and legal.

This will be bolstered further by its recent B Corp Certification, making it one of just circa 2,300 businesses in the UK to attain this status.

Ecroyd’s 11-year tenure with Equifax Group saw him drive high performance from sales teams across multiple verticals, including a stand-out achievement of setting a new record of $1.2 million in new revenue in a single month.

After joining TDX Group in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, he achieved notable results including 15 per cent year-on-year growth in 2023, 12 months ahead of the business goal. Since leaving the Equifax Group in March 2023, he has split his time across several businesses to help them exceed their growth ambitions.

Ecroyd’s appointment is not the first time his path has crossed with Anumana CEO Hemant Patel. The two have a long history of working together, as Patel was previously a client during his time at Equifax.

“Ben’s extensive experience and our long-standing working relationship makes him the ideal fit for Anumana,” said Patel. “His skill in building client trust, instilling employee motivation, and setting clear commercial strategies will drive our ambitious plans for sustainable double-digit growth, setting us up for success in the new year.”

Anumana’s client base includes Swizzels, MPM Products and KP Law. Ecroyd has ambitions to triple the size of the business in a three-year period.

He added: “I am incredibly pleased to be joining Anumana at a time when there is so much potential for growth as the demand for automation and AI solutions continues to increase at an exponential rate.

“As well as Anumana’s innovative service offering, another key differentiator, from other consultancies, is that Anumana empowers clients to build the knowledge required to become self-sufficient.

“It is also unique in its extremely high standards of social value and ethical responsibility which are important to me.”
