Manchester-based Pet Trust UK will launch the UK’s first centralised pet database on February 5th.
The company has created a digital tag that links to a pet’s microchip and profile, which is filled with life-saving and critical information.
If a pet goes missing or is in an emergency, anyone can tap or scan the QR code to instantly access these details.
The tags also enable the first risk analysis and fraud prevention system for pets, which could potentially aid insurers economically.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Pet Trust UK will be launching the UK’s First Centralised Pet Database on February 5th,” said co-founder Felix Robinson.
“This represents 12 months of effort, innovation, and collaboration, and now we are finally bringing it to life.”
Circle of Trust is part of GM Business Growth Hub’s Manchester ASCEND cohort – a six-month programme taking 25 businesses on a scaleup journey with delivery partner KPMG. It has also been supported by the Turing Innovation Catalyst Manchester Program.
