Malvern Group, the travel technology company behind Super Break and Laterooms.com, and leading transport provider, National Express, have announced a strategic partnership offering UK travellers a new way to book a holiday or short break package.
‘Holidays by National Express’ uses Malvern Group’s innovative new technology platform to build on National Express’ unrivalled network of scheduled coach services with a wide range of hotels and experiences – including attractions, tours and theatre tickets – throughout the UK.
The proprietary platform is unique in enabling the dynamic bundling of multiple products in one basket, at better value to the consumer, which also offers an increase in booking value for partners and an improvement in customer loyalty and lifetime value.
Providing a fully integrated inspiration, planning and booking trip tool, the platform enables travel companies to expand their product offering and get to market quickly and cost efficiently with a range of additional experiences for their consumers which are fully ABTA bonded and PTR compliant.
Hugo Kimber (pictured above), executive chairman of Malvern Group, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s most recognised travel brands to launch ‘Holidays by National Express.
“Through our expertise in travel and technology, we strive to empower our partners to grow their business through a full service, fully integrated technology offering.
“This partnership shows great momentum for Malvern Group as we continue to transform the travel technology sector and deliver exceptional end-user experiences.”
Chris Hardy, managing director of National Express UK Coach, said: “We already transport over 20 million people a year around the UK, so it makes sense to offer them a full package of options such as hotels and attractions, to complete their journey.
“By working with Malvern Group, Holidays by National Express is using the latest technology to allow customers to simply and quickly choose from budget to boutique and book a great value travel package.”
