AIM-listed social video group Brave Bison has appointed Oliver Green as its Non-Executive Chairman and Philippa Norridge as Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect.

Green has been a Non-Executive Director and Interim Chairman at Brave Bison since December 2019.

He is the Managing Director and a significant shareholder of marketing agency Tangent Marketing Services Limited and has several years’ experience working in digital marketing and technology across a range of sectors including FMCG, Technology, B2B and Automotive.

Green has also advised on strategy across projects such as digital transformation, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and customer relationship management (CRM). Tangent group companies and Oliver Green together hold 27..33% of the issued share capital of Brave Bison.

UK TECH APPOINTMENTS IN 2020

Norridge has been a Director and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Brave Bison since February 2020.

Norridge has a wealth of experience, having spent nearly two decades working in the media and marketing services sector, and has held senior roles at a number of marketing services firms, including Finance Director at leading independent agency Albion Brand Communications and global agency group MullenLowe Profero. Most recently, Norridge was the Finance Director at Tangent.

She has resigned from her position as Finance Director at Tangent and the Secondment Agreement with Tangent announced on 5 February 2020 has now been terminated, but she remains a director of Tangent for a short handover period.

Additionally, Norridge has worked on various acquisitions and mergers of marketing services businesses including Profero’s acquisition by Interpublic Group of Companies as well as the subsequent acquisition and integration of the marketing agency, 101.

Kate Burns, CEO of Brave Bison was appointed last April following a career at BuzzFeed and Google.

She said of the appointments: “I am thrilled to have both Oliver and Philippa joining the team to undertake permanent roles.

The company has more than 70 members of staff across London, Singapore, Japan and Korea.

The eight-year-old business specialises in cross-platform video content, connecting global audiences through social media. Its online communities reach over 135 million followers.
