Digital marketing agency Kepler Group has been sold to KYU Collective, a strategic operating unit of Hakuhodo DY Holdings.

Founded in 2012, New York City-headquartered Kepler is a provider of data-driven digital marketing services to Fortune 500 clients in the financial services, travel, retail, healthcare and other industries.

It actively manages client programs in over two dozen countries worldwide and nearly $300 million in media spend, with offices in San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia.

GP Bullhound acted as the financial advisor to Kepler.

“GP Bullhound was a great asset for us throughout this process,” said Kepler founder and CEO Rick Greenberg.

“Their expertise and relationships in the sector proved to be invaluable as we secured a terrific outcome for all stakeholders.”

Alec Dafferner, partner at GP Bullhound, commented: “We are proud to have advised Kepler.

“The acquisition will strengthen KYU’s programmatic capabilities by bringing a world-class team and platform while also allowing Kepler to continue its growth on a global scale.”
