Influencer marketing agency Influencer.com has opened a new Manchester office as it expands its UK-based operations.

The London-headquartered company plans to establish a long-term presence in Manchester and has appointed Olivia Thomasson from Social Chain as a client partner.

Having built strong business relationships with Manchester-based Pretty Little Thing, BoohooMan, Wavemaker North and Media Agency Group, it hopes the office will help it to better service clients in the local area, as well as global agencies and advertisers.

The firm is on course to grow by 450% this year and will create dozens of new roles in Manchester including paid media managers, client service leads, creator relationship managers and creative strategists.

Additionally, the company will be investing in the local community by running local mentoring and apprentice opportunities.

Strategic base

“This office opening was strategic not only because it has a wealth of local talent that can be developed, but also because Manchester has a thriving tech scene and is home to enviable brands with global footprints,” said John-Paul James, VP of business development.

“Our new office provides us with exciting growth opportunities, and we are equally thrilled to bring on someone with Olivia’s skills and expertise.”

It also recently appointed Suzanne Burrows as its chief financial officer.

Burrows most recently served as group CFO at UKTV and has also held CFO and FD roles at BBC Studios and Discovery.
