icelolly.com appoints CMO

Holiday comparison site icelolly.com has appointed a new CMO.

Simon Lloyd has joined the company after holding executive roles with leading brands including AXA, Superdry, BBC and Virgin Atlantic.

Reporting directly to CEO Richard Singer, Lloyd will work closely with the commercial and product teams.

“I am delighted to welcome Simon to the icelolly.com team as our chief marketing officer,” said Singer.

“He has an excellent track record for building brand equity within and without travel, with senior expertise in brand, CRM, insights, content, social, digital marketing and media engagement.

“2020 is set to be an exciting time for icelolly.com as we look to raise the brand’s profile and drive differentiation. Simon’s role will be pivotal to achieve our ambitious growth targets.”

Lloyd said: “I am thrilled to be joining icelolly.com at such a great time.

“I look forward to working with the team to continue the great work already undertaken, focussing on creating and delivering best-in-class marketing initiatives to inspire new and existing customers as we scale icelolly.com further.”

Elliot Muscant, co-founder of marketing agency Open Partners, has also been appointed to the board as non-executive advisor.
