Tech Week Humber will return for its third running in November and adopt a hybrid format.

Tech consultancy and organiser GBE Connect, which saw nearly 3,000 attendees for the 2020 edition – which embraced a digital format owing to COVID-19 – revealed that the event will be held from November 8th-12th.

The event celebrates the Humber as a location for technology and innovation whilst promoting tech skills.

This year the event will be hybrid with a physical and virtual aspect, bringing the best of both worlds together to a global audience.

Founder Antonio Tombanane said: “We are delighted to be launching our event as part of Humber Business Week. We have some of the world’s largest tech companies coming to our region and looking to collaborate with our fantastic tech community.”

The Humber region has seen an unprecedented amount of investment in tech recently, including Connexin’s £80m investment from Whitehelm Capital.

Hull City Council, founding partner for Tech Week Humber, has returned this year as one of the headline partners after setting in motion several Smart Cities projects.

This year also sees the return of the Hull and Humber Tech Awards.

GBE Connect is encouraging local, regional and national businesses in every industry to get involved. It will host a launch event for Tech Week Humber on June 7th which you can register for here.
