A new partnership has been announced between female entrepreneur network AllBright and HSBC.
The partnership will see the bank support the 2019 AllBright Pitch Day series, designed to help female-founded businesses access advice and support from experienced angel investors, high-net-worth individuals and business leaders.
The Pitch Day programme consists of monthly events, hosted at the AllBright in London, and gives female entrepreneurs a platform to pitch their business plans to a panel of investors and business leaders.
HSBC Private Banking’s participation will include active participation on the panel to provide participants with tailored investment and financial advice.
“Having supported entrepreneurs throughout our 154 year history, we know how important it is for them to have access both to capital and expertise,” said António Simões, CEO of HSBC Private Banking.
“We are proud to be partnering with Debbie Wosskow and Anna Jones, the co-founders to the AllBright, to help offer some of the most talented female entrepreneurs the resources they need to help grow their businesses.
“This is part of our broader commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, who are a vital part of the economy, and to continue to foster diversity of thought within HSBC and in the broader community”.
Debbie Wosskow OBE, co-founder of AllBright, comments: “We are delighted to be partnering with HSBC Private Banking. They bring a wealth of business knowledge, global connections and decades of experience to AllBright’s Pitch Days – helping to achieve our joint ambition of supporting female entrepreneurs”.
The AllBright partnership is part of HSBC Private Banking’s wider commitment to support entrepreneurs and family offices across the world.
Successful applicants are likely to be at MVP stage and beyond, and have secured a minimum of £150,000 in investment or revenue to date.
