Talia King has been promoted to the role of chief product officer of award-winning HR technology company Connectr.
She has been tasked with evolving the strategic relationship between customer and product and will join the senior leadership team at Connectr.
Connectr was founded in 2010 and its digital mentoring software ensures new hires are equipped with the mentoring support and learning materials they need on their journeys from candidate to employee.
Earlier this month the company appointed Emma Hicks, former head of professional development at the Institute of Directors, as its chief commercial officer.
King has worked at the heart of Connectr’s platforms since its inception and launch in 2015, and her career has grown with the business.
Having immersed herself into tech and business growth communities in London notably within the Woman in Product-London and the Seedrs’ Venture Partner programme, she regularly appears at industry events.
She said: “I am delighted to be part of Connectr’s board and to effect change that matters to both customers and our future.
“I’m truly passionate that mentoring is essential in creating a diverse and effective workforce, it enables people to progress in their careers whilst providing businesses with the talent they need to achieve their business objectives.
“My new role will allow me to continue to develop our mentoring platform, offering advice to our customers and sharing best practice to mentors so we can make sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive in their career.”
Connectr’s founder and managing director, Will Akerman, said: “We’re delighted to appoint Talia as Connectr’s chief product Officer. She has a drive and passion for award-winning product design and for creating technology for good.
“Talia is constantly researching and refining our mentoring and candidate experience platform so businesses and their people do not miss out on opportunities.
“She has already created a powerful product team and great network of technology contacts who have become invaluable to Connectr.”
