Subscription home cleaning service Housekeep is to expand around the UK.
Housekeep, which started in 2014 and was launched initially in London, says it has completed millions of weekly and fortnightly cleans by using technology and focusing on ‘clean quality’.
It says it helps cleaners find more work by pairing them with customers in their local area, while also reducing the time they spend travelling between customers.
The company has expanded into the tradesperson market, offering services including handypeople, plumbers, electricians, appliance engineers and gardeners.
The platform is now available in Brighton, St Albans, Luton and Slough, and has plans to open across the UK in 2022. The firm has also launched a mobile app for iOS and Android which it says will make it easier for customers to manage their bookings on-the-go.
It expects to onboard an additional 3,000 cleaners and tradespeople over the next 12 months as its expands across the UK.
“We worked with cleaners, customers and colleagues to craft our new look, and the reaction has been fantastic,” said founder and CEO Avin Rabheru.
“Now we have a brand that works as hard as our cleaners do, and a design system that will help us enhance user experiences, move faster, and seize the opportunity in front of us to expand across the UK and own the home.”
