Artificial intelligence dominates this year’s Greater Manchester Tech Climbers list.
The list showcases trailblazing, product-led tech businesses that are scaling at pace and bringing innovations and digital advancements to the market.
The names of the companies on the 2024 list – and a second Ones to Watch – will be revealed at an exclusive event at The Alan Manchester on December 4th.
With all eyes on artificial intelligence, AI startups hungry for capital have dominated the Greater Manchester Tech Climbers list, making up over half of the entries, and creating 70 per cent of the new jobs coming to Manchester’s tech sector.
Despite facing challenges, investors are going all in on AI – with 69 per cent of these businesses having already received funding.
Meanwhile, these AI businesses are eager to expand. Three quarters are hunting for further funding, and four in five AI businesses are confident they’ll get the finance they need.
The first five speakers at this year’s big reveal event have been confirmed:
- Thomas Ballin, co-founder, Cytix
- Joe van Gelder, CEO, Powdr
- Steven Thompson, co-founder, React-XR
- Patience Tucker, CEO, wi-Q
- Iain Gurney, co-founder, Carma
The event will be hosted by BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire.
Tech Climbers is organised by Active Profile and BusinessCloud is the proud media partner.
