Recruitment & HRAppointments

Deputy, a global platform for managing hourly workers, has appointed Jon Wilson as senior vice president, head of EMEA.

The appointment marks a significant stride in its growth plans, the company said. It aims to help brands to communicate with, schedule and create a more flexible and transparent workplace for their employees, and more easily enables compliance with local workplace legislation.

Most recently, Wilson served as the CEO of Stepstone Atlantic, a globally renowned jobs and recruiting platform and the owner of Totaljobs. He was previously general manager at Groupon, scaling operations in Northern Europe.

His role at Deputy will be instrumental in leading and expanding the company’s operations and growth across the EMEA regions.

“Enabling customers to simplify their work and pursue their passions has been the driving force behind my entire career – and it aligns perfectly with Deputy’s core purpose,” said Wilson.

“I look forward to continuing this important work alongside our highly engaged team. Creating values-driven work environments where employees thrive is a personal commitment of mine, and I am eager to guide Deputy towards even greater achievements.”

“With his strategic vision and deep knowledge of the EMEA market, I am confident he will help rapidly scale our presence and establish Deputy as a household brand championing the everyday worker.”
