FinTech ClearBank has appointed Megan Cooper (nee Caywood) as chief product officer.

Cooper joins the enabler of real-time clearing and embedded banking for financial institutions with over a decade of experience in FinTech.

She served as chief product officer and head of digital strategy at Barclays UK Business and as chief platform officer at Starling Bank. She is also a board member of UK Finance Digital, Technology, Cyber Products and Services team, and was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2018.

Cooper will lead the bank’s product strategy, creating and executing its roadmap at a critical time for ClearBank as it expands into new markets. She will work closely with the bank’s client management, innovation, engineering, and risk and compliance teams to develop and maintain the bank’s capabilities, aligning them with customer needs.

“I look forward to working with ClearBank and continuing this approach, creating services that will meet customer needs both in the UK, Europe and the US.”
