In-game advertising company Bidstack Group has appointed a new chairman.
The London-listed company said David Reeves, former head of Sony Computer Entertainment (Europe), will take over the position on 1st September. In the meantime he will sit on the board as a non-executive director.
Current chair Donald Stewart will move to a NED role in September and serve on the audit and remuneration committees.
Reeves has over 30 years’ global experience in senior management roles within multinational companies across the video games industry.
He launched Sony PlayStation in Germany, Switzerland & Austria in 1995. He was later appointed as executive vice president of SCE (Europe), before becoming president and CEO EMEA in 2003. In 2010, he was appointed as COO of Capcom (Europe).
Reeves runs his own consulting company, DRC Consulting Ltd, is co-founder of E Fundamentals, a SaaS company providing eCommerce analytics services, and is chairman of Comcarde Ltd, an Edinburgh based FinTech.
Earlier this year he retired from the board of Keywords Studios, a technical services provider to the global video games industry, after nine years’ service.
