SimplyBiz Group has appointed David Thompson as CFO, with finance director Gareth Hague resigning from the firm.
Thompson will join the Huddersfield-based listed group, which provides FinTech and support services to the UK’s retail financial services sector, on 1st April.
The qualified chartered accountant was most recently CFO at AIM-listed Smart Metering Systems.
He has held a number of senior finance positions including roles at Energetics Utility Group, Johnston Carmichael LLP and PwC LLP.
After five years with the company, group finance director Hague will leave by mutual agreement and resign as a director from 31st March.
