With less than eight weeks to go until the 2024 Leeds Digital Festival gets underway, organisers are calling for the Leeds tech community to submit their event details.

The final deadline for event submissions is 5pm Wednesday 24 July. The Festival runs from 16th-27th September.

Now in its ninth year, Leeds Digital Festival is the UK’s largest open platform tech event and the biggest outside London.

For this year’s Festival, organisers are aiming to deliver the best possible experience for Leeds’ tech community.

Businesses or individuals looking to host an event as part of the programme should ensure the event has a clear relationship with technology and offers clear value to attendees.

The Festival is a celebration of all the tech achievements within the Leeds City Region, which includes Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield but each year proudly welcome event hosts, attendees and speakers from other areas.

Renowned as ‘the tech event for everyone’ it is open to contributions from anyone with a passion for digital but events must have a clear relevance for the region.

“This is the ninth year for Leeds Digital Festival, and judging by the quality of event submissions so far, the appetite for this year’s event looks to be stronger than ever,” said Stuart Clarke MBE, festival director.

“For participants who want to get involved there is still time to submit an entry to host an event as part of the overall programme.

“We aim to make this our most packed programme in the Festival’s history with a more diverse range of events than we’ve ever seen before so I’m urging the tech community to finalise and submit their entries before Wednesday’s deadline to avoid disappointment.”
