Leading FinTech advisory Royal Park Partners has appointed Vaggelis Makris as senior director, joining the London team to broaden the firm’s global offering.

The appointment follows a year of growth, during which time Royal Park Partners oversaw $1bn worth of transactions across 15 deals, grew its global leadership team, and doubled its revenue for the second year running.

The company is accelerating its international presence, with recent transactions across the US, Germany and South Africa, and deepening its pool of global FinTech advisory talent.

Vaggelis brings with him more than 20 years of deal experience in financial technology as investment banker and investor.

He’s a former strategic investor at HSBC and former PE/VC investor at Fosun and Mouro Capital.

Royal Park Partners has offices in London and New York and Vaggelis will deliver strategic positioning and deal structuring guidance.
