Private telehealth provider Doctor Care Anywhere (DCA) has partnered with mental health platform HelloSelf to widen access to personalised, clinically guided mental health support through direct GP referral.

The new relationship will allow the London firm’s clinicians to refer patients straight into HelloSelf’s tailored service, which combines therapy, coaching and AI-supported care.

HelloSelf provides personalised “SelfPlans”, designed using measurable outcome data, clinical oversight and the individual needs of each patient.

Following a clinical assessment, patients are guided into one of four pathways depending on severity and suitability – weekly therapy, monthly therapy, neurodiversity coaching, or a lighter-touch option led by the HelloSelf Companion.

This is designed to support people who may be sub-clinical but still struggling, as well as those who require more structured and ongoing treatment.

Doctor Care Anywhere – Fast, convenient, and accessible healthcare, 24/7

“We are delighted to be partnering with Doctor Care Anywhere to help more people feel their Self sooner,” said HelloSelf CEO, Charles Wells.

“This is the first time a GP can refer directly into a personalised psychology pathway that focuses on helping people feel better sooner and stay well for longer.

“Working with HelloSelf Companion AI will be transformative for every Doctor Care Anywhere patient.”

DCA’s chief medical officer, Dr Anushka Mehrotra, added: “Mental health is a critical part of overall wellbeing, and we know that timely, personalised support can make a real difference.

“Our partnership with HelloSelf means Doctor Care Anywhere patients will have seamless access to clinically guided pathways that combine human expertise with innovative AI tools.

“This is an important step in delivering joined-up care that helps people feel better sooner and stay well for longer.”

The partnership is now live and both organisations say they will collaborate further on innovation.

This includes enabling more patients to access behavioural health prescriptions alongside GP services and mental health support.
