Solana lost the most value among the major cryptocurrency coins as the market fell more than 4% in the last 24 hours.
Solana (SOL) had enjoyed big rises at the start of the week but is back below $100 – at $98 – at the time of writing (7am UK) following a 10% drop in the last 24 hours. It remains 11% up in a week.
A 7% fall for Avalanche (AVAX) puts it at $67.47, 8% higher than its price last Thursday.
Polkadot (DOT) shed 8% to $18.46 and is 5% up over seven days.
Terra (LUNA) dropped 6% to $48.27 and is 15% down over seven days.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, fell 4% to around $2,650. ETH is 11% up on its price a week ago.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) is below $37,000 following a 4% fall and is 2% up over seven days.
Ripple (XRP) and Cardano (ADA) both shed 4% and are where they were a week ago. XRP is at 60 cents, while ADA is at $1.04.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) dropped below 14c with a 3% fall and is 2% down on its price a week ago.
Binance Coin (BNB) is at $367, more or less where it was a week ago, following a 4% drop in the last 24 hours.
The overall market cap of the almost 17,300 coins is at $1.7 trillion, a 4.1% decrease in the last 24 hours.
