Cardano continued to rise following a huge price increase over the weekend while the other majors dropped value in the last 24 hours.

Its ADA token is at $1.56 at the time of writing (7am UK), up from $1.29 on Friday morning and 3% up in the last 24 hours. It is 35% up in a week.

Terra (LUNA), the only other major coin to grow over the weekend, shed 7% to $77 but is 7% higher than its price a week ago.

Solana (SOL) dropped 2% to $140 with its seven-day price up 3%, while Binance Coin (BNB) dropped 3% to $474, 9% up over seven days.

Polkadot (DOT) is down 5% to $25.43 yet up 6% over seven days. Ripple (XRP) remains on 76 cents following a slight fall and is 1% up in a week.

Avalanche (AVAX) dropped 3% to below $87 and is up 1% on a week ago.

 

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1% to below $42,300, more or less where it was last Tuesday morning.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, shed 3% to around $3,200 yet is 3% up in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) remains around 17c and is 18% up over seven days while its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) is 2% down in the last 24 hours but 8% up over seven days.

 

The overall market cap of the more than 16,900 coins is at $2.01 trillion, down 2% in the last 24 hours.
