Cardano (ADA) and Avalanche (AVAX) dropped the most value as the cryptocurrency market fell in the last 24 hours.

Each fell 4%. ADA is at 92 cents at the time of writing (7am UK) and remains 19% up over the course of a week.

AVAX stands at $83.35 and is 26% higher than its price a week ago.

Solana (SOL) dropped below $100 with a 3% fall yet is 23% up over seven days, while Binance Coin (BNB) shed 1% to $407 and is also 23% up in a week.

Market leaders Bitcoin and Ethereum both dropped 2%. At $43,350 and $2,900 respectively, BTC and ETH are also both up 24% over seven days.

Polkadot (DOT) is at $18.34 after losing 3% yet is 26% up in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) shed 1% to drop towards 13c, 18% higher than its price last Thursday morning.

Ripple (XRP), down less than 1%, is falling away from 77c but 21% up over seven days.

Terra (LUNA) – this year’s stellar performer – was the only coin to avoid a loss. It remained just below $93 and is a whopping 77% higher than its price seven days ago.

The overall market cap of the more than 17,900 coins is at $1.9 trillion, a 2.3% increase in the last 24 hours.
