Fortnite to land at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium

A grassroots eSports tournament featuring big-money cash prizes for players will visit ten stadiums around the UK early next year.

Estars featuring Fortnite will see gamers and fans compete in a series of Battle Royales between January and March.

This EStars community tournament is open to everyone from the age of 12 upwards to register and they will all be in with a chance to compete for prize money with over 600 individual cash prizes to be won, which will be spread out across the ten different locations.

The first leg of EStars featuring Fortnite will kick off in Glasgow at Celtic Park on 4th January. The tournament will then visit grounds including Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Newcastle’s St. James’ Park, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge.

The EStars Grand Final will then take place at Stamford Bridge in West London on 31st March. All dates are below.

The last gamer standing will claim the ultimate Victory Royale and walk off with £25,000. There will also be dance contests, VIP meet-and-greets and opportunities to win eSports goodies.

EStars aims to grow and promote esports at a grassroots level, creating an inclusive gaming environment for all players through the provision of major tournaments.

It aims to give players at all levels the chance to compete in major gaming tournaments and continue to bring fun, community gaming events to players across the globe.
