Alcove is a digital adult social care services which harnesses the Internet of Things.

Set up in 2014, the company’s assistive technology ecosystem combines sensors, wearables, activity monitoring, alerting, emergency response, a communication aid and carer check-in to replace fixed-line telecare.

Alcove collects data from equipment in people’s homes which allows its system to work out when something unusual occurs.
