AI KAT, a brand-building company using artificial intelligence to revolutionise brand creation and management, has secured £290,000 in funding.
The investment was led by early stage investor SFC Capital and will propel AI KAT’s mission to automate and democratise brand agency processes.
Founded by industry veteran Katrien Grobler, previously head of brand at Vodafone Enterprise UK, AI KAT lets every member of the team become a brand storyteller. Its proprietary AI Brand DNA technology locks down a consistent style and tone in every brand asset.
In essence, this is AI-generated branding crafted with far more soul than other more generic AI brand tools on the market.
The vision is supported by co-founder Rafael Irgolic, who graduated with a first in computer science from St. Andrews University and leads the technical development of the platform.
“We’re talking world class brand thinking and style, built with AI, and polished with a human touch,” said Grobler.
In October, the company exceeded its revenue target by 20%, reflecting a 3.5X growth compared to September. Starting from its Proof of Concept phase in August, AI KAT says it has secured 10 active clients and a waitlist of over 70 brands and businesses.
Edward Stevenson, investment executive at SFC Capital, added: “AI KAT’s innovative approach and compelling technology align perfectly with our strategy of supporting enterprises that are set to disrupt their industries.
“We have strong confidence in the leadership team and look forward to their continued success.”
