AdTech Sparteo is aiming to accelerate its UK growth by strengthening its team in London and relocating its sales director there.

The Paris-headquartered scaleup says it is witnessing increased customer demand from UK publishers looking to drive more efficiency, engagement and revenue through its AI- and data-driven video, audio, display, CMP and Connected TV solutions.

UK clients include market leaders such as Nigella.com, The Race and Kelsey Media Group.

Sparteo is the second venture from founders Denis Marchant, Pierre Orlac’h, Thomas Pruvot and Benjamin Tolman, the team behind Groupe Cerise – acquired by Bertelsmann in a €40m+ deal in 2017.

Employing a team of 100 employees across four offices – Lille, Paris, Berlin and London – it has seen revenues increase 40% since the start of 2023, reaching €20 million last year. It says it is on track for 50% growth in 2024.

“AdTech is rapidly evolving as a sector, led by the maturing of new technologies, an ever-complex ecosystem and increased competition,” said chief strategy officer Tolman.

“Sparteo’s vision has always been to empower our customers, by redefining what’s possible for adtech and drive more innovation and sustainability at a global scale.

“The growth in UK customer demand, together with a diverse talent pool made London the natural choice for Sparteo’s next European office. We’re very excited to be here.”
