Chester-based tech recruitment specialist 3ecruit is seeing a rise in the export of its services after expanding into new markets including France, Germany, Italy and the US.

The company, which was founded in 2014 by Jan Vandewalle with investment from industry entrepreneur Gary Dewhurst, has experienced significant growth in the past year, with its international business activity rising from 20 per cent of its operations up to 80 per cent.

Launched as a specialist recruiter to support the emerging 3D technology, architecture and managed print services sectors, it has established a presence in industries including TV, film and gaming, as well as automotive, medical equipment technology, aerospace and app design.

The company’s international expansion is supported by its seven-strong multi-lingual team, which has helped place a range of professionals including visual artists, application engineers and sales and marketing professionals into roles across Europe and worldwide.

Next the company will target growing markets such as the Middle East and Australia, and also plans on increasing its presence in Germany in order to further increase its export activity.

Two business development consultants are set to be recruited in London who will also support 3ecruit’s sister business, POSability.

“The 3D technology market is growing exponentially, which is creating opportunities around the world for the talented specialists we work closely with,” said Vandewalle.

“In addition to placing UK talent into both domestic and international roles we are also enabling candidates from around the world to secure positions across Europe and further afield.

“This has been strengthened by our reputation in the industry among 3D technology companies that want to secure the best talent through efficient and effective processes.

“This is enabling us to expand into new regions of the world and see markets such as Australia and the Middle East as important to the continuing development of the business.”
