At the time of writing (7am UK), market leader BTC had reached £57,200 to stand 16% up over seven days.

Solana (SOL) also dropped 5% to $144 but is 14% down in a week.
Polkadot (DOT), Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) all fell 4%. The former, a proof-of-stake blockchain platform which aims to securely connect blockchains as a sort of decentralised internet, is 6% higher than a week ago.

Binance Coin (BNB) dropped 2% to $408 and is 5% down in a week.
Smart contract blockchain platform Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, shed less than 1% to dip just below $3,500 yet is 3% up over the course of seven days.
Faith in SHIBA INU (SHIB), the Ethereum-based side coin to DOGE, continues. It grew the most – 13% – among the top 100 coins in the last 24 hours, and is 133% up over seven days thanks to an Elon Musk tweet early last week of his Shiba Inu dog on a Tesla.
Arweave (AR) fell the most – 14% – to $54.93, which puts it 3% down in a week.
The overall market cap of the more than 12,600 coins dropped to $2.29 trillion, a 1.3% decrease in the last 24 hours.
