Tao Digital helps charity for children with CHD

Digital marketing agency Tao Digital is giving back to its local community in Bolton by supporting the Lagan’s Foundation charity.

Tao Digital was founded by Matt Tomkin and Dave Thornton in 2017 and already has clients such as health and safety environment consultants EDP-UK and building services firm The Parr Group.

Lagan’s Foundation was set up in the name of Lagan Katherine Anne Grant, who lost her fight for life in April 2011 aged just 15 weeks after she was born with coronary heart disease.

Her parents Carren Bell and Barry Grant wanted something positive to come out of their loss and started Lagan’s Foundation to help children with the condition.

It is the only organisation of its kind to provide regular volunteer support at home for children with CHD and/or feeding difficulties.

“It has long been a local charity that has always tugged at my heartstrings for the work that they do. Over the last few years, I have seen the organisation grow from a small entity to now providing help and support throughout the UK, working tirelessly to help people who need it most,” Tomkin said.

“Having young children myself, I don’t know how some of the people manage to cope, and if I can do my bit to help get the charity in front of more people who need the help then I am more than happy to do so.”

Carren Bell said: “I’ve known Matt for a number of years and in that time he has given us advice when needed and helped support the charity in other ways. But we are now looking at the sustainability of the organisation and we need to be in front of people at the right time.

“The results that we have achieved so far are invaluable in doing this, we are looking to build the organic traffic to the site and we are confident that Matt and his team will enable us to do so.”
