London based social marketing company Noise Media has hired Social Chain’s former Head of Student Problems as Content Director, as it looks to expand its social channel growth following recent investment to expand across the UK.
Michael Martin founded and led community growth at Manchester’s social-first marketing agency Social Chain, expanding online communities from a few thousand followers to millions.
Prior to Social Chain, Martin grew Twitter accounts to hundreds of thousands of followers whilst studying for his A-levels, using his skills to fund his time at University.
Noise Media CEO, Joseph Levi, said: “With the success of our student community, we’re excited to have Michael in the team and to help us grow and define new social communities whilst shaping our brand content strategy over the coming years.”
Martin said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Noise Media at such a seminal moment for social media. With its recent round of funding having been completed, the business is well placed to expand and I look forward to being a part of that.”
Noise Media grows highly engaged communities on social media and handles the social media marketing for clients including Superdrug, The Economist and TopCashBack.
