Four new appointments have been made at MediaCity UK’s The Landing as part of a new 10-year plan to ramp up support for tech start-ups.
The management team at the technology and enterprise hub is being strengthened by the appointment of new financial controller Kelly Byrne, who joins the team this week.
Previously from We Are Nova in Liverpool, Byrne has a strong background in small businesses and the digital sector.
The Landing is also putting more support in place for its resident businesses with the creation of a specialist business services team.
Former community manager Shu-Ling Li has been promoted and will lead the new team as head of business services. She will be supported by three new appointments.
Chris Stephens will take on the role of business and community manager; James Summerton, previously of Computer Futures, will be business development manager; and Holly Lindon has been hired as a marketing apprentice.

The Landing is a dedicated tech incubator hub for technology and digital start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs.
It provides workspace, incubator programmes and user testing labs and gives digital SMEs a place to work alongside large media and tech organisations.
