Celebrity Race Across the World is back on our screens as another group of celebrities swap technology and home comforts for a paper map as they attempt to navigate their way around the world.

The latest four pairs taking part in the hit BBC One show are siblings Princess Andre and Junior Andre; veteran sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling and his son Matt; singer-songwriter Ella Eyre and her childhood friend Nana Pepera; and musician Sam Ryder with his best friend and tour manager Kaz Coles.

For six weeks, the celebrities have no access to smartphones, the internet, Google Maps or contactless payments as they attempt to complete the 7,500km journey from Borneo, across South East Asia, to Melbourne in Australia.

The only concession to modern technology is the use of GPS tracking devices for the contestants’ safety.

Who are the Celebrity Race Across the World 2026 contestants?

1. Ella Eyre and Nana Pepera

BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Ella Eyre is joined by her childhood friend Nana Pepera for the epic adventure.

The pair, both 32, met at Millfield School more than 20 years ago and decided to take part in Celebrity Race Across the World because they never got the chance to go on a gap year together.

Eyre rose to prominence after collaborating with Rudimental on their UK number-one single Waiting All Night, which won the BRIT Award for British Single of the Year in 2014.

The singer, who has 472,000 followers on Instagram and another 170,000 on TikTok, is also a co-owner and partner of INTUNE CBD Drinks UK, an independent, female-owned British wellness brand.

Pepera holds a first-class honours degree in accounting and finance from the University of Manchester.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she now works as a founder in the travel and experiences sector.
