InsurTech

BusinessCloud can reveal its InsurTech 50 innovation ranking for 2026.

Our readers and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in the insurance industry.

The InsurTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech for insurance advice, products and claims.

Genasys, a cloud-based insurance solution for insurers, MGAs and brokers, tops the ranking. Its clients can select the modules they need to launch, run and grow a modern business.

In second spot is Gigasure. Its travel insurance lets customers tailor their cover around their trip, budget and activities – and at the centre of the experience is the Gigasure app.

House of Insurtech, a digital insurance platform that helps insurers, MGAs and brokers innovate and grow their businesses, makes third position.

In fifth spot, behind Supercede, is Superscript. This InsurTech makes business insurance simpler, combining technology-led insurance for SMEs with specialist broking expertise to help businesses find the cover that’s right for them.

Concirrus and Sprout.ai are sixth and seventh, followed by Photocert, which validates the authenticity of photos and documents, offering a powerful solution for businesses – particularly in the insurance sector.

The top 10 is completed by Meshed and Optalitix. The latter is a software provider offering low-code pricing and underwriting platform for global (re)insurers and MGAs – improving performance, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

An array of other trailblazers feature on the ranking.

Lateral is building health and wealth products specifically for people over 60 in the UK who strive to maintain good health and an active lifestyle – those with no intention of stopping.

Napo builds the pet insurance it would want for its own pets: fast, fair and human. That means quick decisions, fair pricing, and support that shows up when it matters most.

Pikl is the revenue growth partner for the travel market, backed by insurance. Its Flexible Cancellation product gives short-term rental property managers and hosts the confidence to convert more bookings, without losing revenue if guests cancel.

Uinsure empowers advisers to provide an experience that removes the complexity of comparing and accessing insurance today. Its digital experience is used for insuring home, buy-to-let/landlords, non-standard, new build, commercial and tenant properties.
