Hull City has announced a new partnership with a South African FinTech company.

Based in Durban, Swiffy provides an end-to-end payments stack for businesses operating across Africa, with services covering deposits, payouts and settlement available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

As part of the partnership, Swiffy will work with Hull City throughout the 2026/27 season, with the two organisations collaborating across digital, content and in-stadium activity.

The partnership will also provide an opportunity for Hull City to further strengthen its connection with supporters across Africa, where interest in the Premier League and the club continues to grow.

“We’re really pleased to welcome Swiffy to the Hull City family,” said Joe Clutterbrook, chief operating officer at Hull City.

“Swiffy is a business with a clear understanding of the African market and a strong focus on making digital payments work better for its customers. There’s a natural alignment between their ambition to connect businesses and customers across the continent and our own ambition to connect Hull City with supporters around the world.”

The partnership forms part of Hull City’s continued focus on developing its international presence following the club’s return to the Premier League for the first time in a decade.

Swiffy’s payment infrastructure is designed specifically for online businesses, including foreign exchange, iGaming and sports betting operators, helping merchants manage payments.

Swiffy co-founders Jadie Naicker, Christian Di Zio and Neil Schwartzman said: “We’re incredibly proud to partner with Hull City at such an exciting moment in the club’s history.

“Their return to the Premier League represents ambition, resilience and the determination to compete at the highest level. Qualities that strongly resonate with the journey we’ve been on building Swiffy.

“For us, this partnership brings together two ambitious organisations with a shared drive to grow. The Premier League has an extraordinary following in Africa, and partnering with Hull City gives Swiffy a powerful platform to build our brand, showcase African FinTech on a global stage and introduce Swiffy to new audiences.

“We’re excited to be part of Hull City’s journey back in the Premier League and look forward to building a partnership that extends well beyond this season.”
