Welcome to BusinessCloud’s FinTech 50 ranking for 2025.

Zuto, a Manchester company providing online car finance and loans, tops the annual ranking of UK companies creating original technology for finance and payments.

Following the creation of a 169-strong shortlist, the final ranking – proudly supported by S&W – was decided by a combination of selections from an expert judging panel (see below) and a vote among readers of BusinessCloud.

Joe Roche has worked across the professional services, legal services and FinTech sectors in the North of England since 2016. FinTech North, founded in 2016 as the first regional UK FinTech hub, brings together people who either have an interest or work in FinTech and its adjacent sectors.
