A Leeds-based accessibility startup has secured early funding and expanded its team as it rebrands and accelerates its growth.
Simon Milner, a Silicon Valley veteran with multi-billion dollar exits, has been appointed acting CTO.
Also joining the team is machine learning engineer Anzer Khan, an MSc AI graduate specialising in machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning.
AUDITSU, formerly known as IMAGINaiTION, was founded by Jason Crispin, a multi-award-winning entrepreneur.
The new identity reinforces AUDITSU’s focus on automated accessibility compliance and risk intelligence.
The RegTech’s mission is to revolutionise accessibility compliance through data-driven solutions as it supports mid-sized to enterprise organisations navigating the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
The EAA, which comes into force in June 2025, transforms accessibility from a user-interface concern into a legal and financial risk for 18.5m companies serving the European Union.
“With the European Accessibility Act set to reshape digital compliance, businesses can no longer afford to overlook accessibility,” said Crispin.
“AUDITSU is growing fast to meet this challenge, providing companies with the data-driven intelligence they need to stay compliant, protect their reputation, and create truly accessible digital experiences.”
The company has also appointed its first two recruits following successful funding from the UK Government and The Royal Academy of Engineering.
