There has been an executive shakeup at K3 Business Technology Group plc.
The Salford-headquartered software provider to fashion and apparel brands said executive chairman Tom Crawford will step down from his current role to become a non-executive director following publication of the company’s interim results in mid-July.
Appointed non-executive chairman in 2020, Crawford became executive chair late last year. The decision has been taken to reduce his work commitments in light of the health condition of a close family member.
CFO Eric Dodd, who joined the board in April 2023, will take up the role of CEO.
Dodd was previously CFO of ATTRAQT Group plc – a specialist in omnichannel search, merchandising and personalised product discovery technology for online retailers and brands – which he joined in 2017.
He has also served as CFO of Iptor Supply Chain Systems UK Limited, a private equity-backed software and services business, and KBC Advanced Technology plc, a software and consultancy provider to the hydrocarbon industry.

K3 serves more than 3,000 customers across 20 countries. Its board said it remains on track to perform in line with its expectations for the current financial year.
